  • Season's Greetings 2024 by Renewable Market Watch

/LONDON, December 18, 2023, 10:00 GMT, RENEWABLE MARKET WATCHTM/ The global renewable energy capacity growth is going to reach a new record level at the end of 2023. The world is in a global energy crisis that has not been seen for decades. The main drivers of this crisis were the growth of commodity prices since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery period, the disruption of supply chains, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and the military conflict in Israel and Gaza in 2023. However, according to the Renewable Market Watch™, the newly installed global renewable energy capacity will grow by more than 3500 GW by 2032. There is no power to stop the progress of renewables for the following ten years.

  • Season's Greetings 2025 by Renewable Market Watch

/LONDON, December 23, 2024, 10:00 GMT, RENEWABLE MARKET WATCHTM/ The gobal renewable energy capacity is projected to grow by 2.7 times by 2030, exceeding the current ambitions of countries by nearly 25%, although it still falls short of tripling. Climate and energy security policies in almost 140 countries have played a crucial role in making renewable energy cost-competitive with fossil fuel power plants. This shift is generating new demand from the private sector and households. Additionally, industrial policies that promote local manufacturing of solar panels and wind turbines are helping to develop domestic markets. The European Union and the United States are both forecast to double the pace of renewable capacity growth between 2024 and 2030, while India sees the fastest rate of growth among large economies.
