This region has become one of the fastest-growing solar PV markets in Europe with cumulative PV installed capacity of 9.1 GW for 2015 at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 27.9 % from 2010 to 2015, and with an expected cumulative PV installed capacity to exceed 26.9 GW by the end of 2025 according to CEE and SEE Countries Solar PV Market Review 2016 – 2017. All of the CEE and SEE countries have renewable energy capacity targets, assisting their aims to obtain a share of its power generation from renewable energy sources, including photovoltaic energy.
