/DÜSSELDORF, November 28, 2023, 16:00 CET, RENEWABLE MARKET WATCH^TM/ Renewable Market Watch™ participated in the Solar Solutions Düsseldorf trade fair, which brought together over 12,100 experts from the sustainable energy sector in North Rhine-Westphalia and the surrounding regions to exchange knowledge and meet potential business partners. State Secretary Silke Krebs from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia officially opened the trade fair. More than 220 exhibitors presented their products and services in two halls with a total exhibition area of around 20,000 square metres. Solar Solutions Düsseldorf focuses on direct and easy trade at all times. Official trade fair statistics show that a total of 12,504 products and exhibitors were scanned with the in-house trade fair application. These lead scans are registered whenever the individual QR code of an exhibitor or product is scanned. This proves the above-average active interaction between visitors and exhibitors.

The halls had interesting special areas, such as the Innovation Boulevard. The most exciting innovations were selected from many nominations presented there. Another event highlight was the European Solar Games, a competition organised by Esdec, Rexel, SolarEdge & Eturnity AG. Installers competed for the coveted Golden Roof Hook. The decisive factors here were quality, safety and speed of installation. Grüne Leuchte rightly won the Golden Roof Hook, while ENVIRIA Energy Holding took a respectable second place.

A total of three awards were presented at the event. Solar Clarity was honoured for its outstanding stand presentation, which was recognised with the “Best Presentation” award. Krannich was honoured for its effective customer invitation and received the “Best Promotion” award. Finally, the “Best Innovation” award went to the Easy Solar Kit Balcony Angled from TSUNESS.

Visitors not only had the opportunity to explore the exhibitors’ stands, but could also take part in numerous seminars. Prominent speakers such as Dr. Helge Hartwig from Ernst Schweizer, Prof Dr Ulf Blieske from the Cologne Institute for Renewable Energy, Hani Fischer from EWS/pv.de and Sebastian Messner from Energie- und Wasserversorgung Bonn/Rhein-Sieg GmbH shared valuable insights into market trends, original solutions to common problems in the industry as well as tips and tricks for marketing their own products and services. There were also exciting presentations on the topics of energy storage, energy management and heat pumps.

Solar Solutions Düsseldorf co-operated for the first time with the NRW Renewable Energy Association, LEE NRW, in this year’s edition. This knowledge partnership offers an expansion of the subject areas at the trade fair itself and expands the networking opportunities.

The Renewable Market Watch™, represented by its Regional Manager DACH, Mrs Swetla Dimitrova, participated in the trade fair with the kind invitation of FuturaSun, which was established in 2008 by a team of managers in Veneto, Italy’s hub of the photovoltaic industry. However, FuturaSun is not one of those many solar companies which enjoyed extremely rapid growth during the years of the photovoltaic boom: they actually started our company just at the time when the first signs of the sector’s decline began to show in Italy, only to plummet in the subsequent years. So, while several big players disappeared from the photovoltaic scene, FuturaSun has continued its growth journey, initially taking small steps and gaining momentum later. Today, FuturaSun sells in over 70 countries and has achieved double-digit sales growth yearly.
