/BERLIN, February 21, 2022, 10:00 GMT, Axpo/ Axpo has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Danish company Obton A/S, a leading solar energy investor in Europe, for the Klatzow solar park currently under construction in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The ten-year contract demonstrates the important role of PPAs in the expansion of renewable energies in Germany. Construction of the 11 MWp Klatzow solar park near Neubrandenburg is already underway, with commissioning planned for spring 2022.

/LONDON, January 17, 2022, 9:15 GMT, Iberdrola, RENEWABLE MARKET WATCHTM/ Iberdrola, through its British subsidiary ScottishPower has signed two deals to acquire 17 solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in the UK, with a combined capacity of more than 800 MW. The contracts have been concluded separately with Elgin Energy, which owns 12 projects, and Lightsource BP, which controls the rest. /15th June 2020, Iberdrola, RENEWABLE MARKET WATCHTM/ Iberdrola group, through its subsidiary in Spain, has built and recently commissioned in Badajoz the Núñez de Balboa solar photovoltaic power plant, which, with 500 MWp of installed capacity and the ability to supply clean energy to 250,000 people, has become the largest in Europe. The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) contributed 290 million euros (145 the EIB and 140 the ICO) to finance the plant, thanks to an agreement signed with Iberdrola.
