/BUCHAREST, October 9, 2025, 10:00 CET, RENEWABLE MARKET WATCH™/ CJR Renewables has proudly announced the successful completion of the Urleasca Wind Farm, located in the picturesque Brăila County of Romania. This state-of-the-art facility boasts a total installed capacity of 102 megawatts (MW), positioning it as a significant contributor to the region’s renewable energy landscape.
With its advanced turbine technology and strategic placement, the wind farm is projected to generate an impressive annual output of approximately 277 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of clean, sustainable electricity.
This generation capacity is expected to play a vital role in reducing carbon footprints, helping to displace around 115,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions each year. The Urleasca Wind Farm not only represents a significant investment in green energy but also underscores CJR Renewables’ commitment to promoting environmentally friendly energy solutions in Romania and contributing to the global efforts against climate change.
Urleasca Wind Farm Highlights:
• 17 wind turbines (GOLDWIND GW165-6.0 HH 120m), each with 6.0 MW capacity
• Engineering and execution design for roads, hardstands, and foundations
• 20.2 km of internal and commune roads
• 17 crane platforms
• 17 turbine foundations

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) provided significant financing, over €46 million, for the 102 MW Urleasca wind farm.
