/BUCHAREST, ROMANIA, September 23, 2026, 11:30 CEST, RENEWABLE MARKET WATCH™/ Nala Renewables has completed the Green Breeze Wind Farm, its largest project to date and the company’s first successful delivery in the Romanian market. Achieved in just over two years from development to commercial operation, Green Breeze underscores Nala’s execution capabilities and commitment to expanding its European footprint.
With an installed capacity of 99.2 MW, the wind farm is fully operational and supplying power to the national grid. Strategically located in Cuca, Galati County, the project features 16 state-of-the-art Vestas V162-6.2 MW turbines, adding significantly to Romania’s renewable energy infrastructure. A long-term power purchase agreement with Apple ensures that the clean electricity Green Breeze generates directly supports Apple’s global renewable energy targets. This contract not only provides stable revenues for Nala but also demonstrates the growing role of corporate offtake agreements in driving the expansion of high-quality renewable assets in Central and Eastern Europe.
