/ESSEN, GERMANY, June 10, 2025, 10:00 CET, RWE/ RWE announces the official inauguration of the Beg Ar C’Hra wind farm, located in the municipalities of Plounévez-Moëdec and Plounérin, in Brittany, France. The project was co-developed in partnership with the Lannion-Trégor semi-public company (SEM). This collaboration led to the granting of the environmental permit in 2022 without appeal. Construction of the wind farm began a year later, in the fall of 2023, with successful commissioning in November 2024.

This project is located near Troyes in the Aube Department of Eastern France. It will cover an area of 42 hectares and have a power capacity of 47 MWp. The offered quota of 424.8 MW for solar and wind power plants was significantly exceeded. The total capacity of the power plants that received incentives is 645 MW, and the total planned investment value is 782 million euros.
