Data from the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia (OIEH) shows that solar, wind, and thermal power from renewable fuels generated more electricity than any other type for the first time. Together, these sources generated over 5 TWh, accounting for 26.6% of Croatia’s total electricity consumption that year. When hydropower is included, renewable sources supplied more than half (52.6%) of the electricity used in Croatia.

The first facility will have a capacity of 150 MW along with a storage capacity of 379 MWh, while the second will offer a capacity of 50 MW and a storage capacity of 126 MWh.
